Every package carries the same Cognia accreditation and NCAA approval. The difference is how your child learns: live with a teacher, live in a group, or independently at their own pace.
Your child works through the full curriculum independently, at their own pace. A teacher is assigned to mark and grade all submitted work. No scheduled class times.

Synchronous is the premium option: weekly live lessons in small groups of no more than 4 students, with personalized feedback and direct real-time interaction with your child’s teacher. Flex delivers weekly live lessons to groups of up to 20 students, with all sessions recorded for replay and direct teacher access through the online chat platform. Asynchronous is fully self-paced with no scheduled classes. Your child works through the course material independently, and a teacher marks and grades all submitted work. All three packages are Cognia-accredited and NCAA-approved with the same transcript credentials.
Pricing is per course and varies by grade level. Asynchronous: $415 per course for elementary and middle school, $535 for high school. Flex: $1,275 per course for elementary and middle school, $1,525 for high school. Synchronous: $2,125 per course for elementary and middle school, $2,500 for high school. Full access to all course content and materials, with all coursework marked and graded by an assigned teacher. Your child works independently at their own pace with no scheduled class times. The Asynchronous package does not include access to the online teacher chat or any live interaction with teachers. Families who want direct teacher communication should consider the Flex or Synchronous packages.

Students also get access to the online chat platform for direct communication with teachers between lessons, and all coursework is marked and graded by the assigned teacher.

Yes. Students can move between Synchronous, Flex, and Asynchronous if their needs change. Credits transfer seamlessly since all three operate under the same accreditation. Many families start with one package and adjust as they learn what works best. Talk to admissions about the transition process.

Yes. Score Academy Online offers rolling enrollment. Students can start at any point during the academic year. Admissions will build a transition plan that accounts for credits already earned.
Pricing splits into two bands. Elementary and middle school courses are priced at $415 (Asynchronous), $1,275 (Flex), or $2,125 (Synchronous) per course. High school courses are $535 (Asynchronous), $1,525 (Flex), or $2,500 (Synchronous) per course. The same pricing applies whether your child is in kindergarten or 5th grade, or in 9th grade or 12th.
