The year learners become readers. Certified teachers who know every student by name, live instruction built for how seven-year-olds learn, and the momentum that turns early skills into lasting confidence.
Second grade is the tipping point. Students shift from decoding words to understanding what they read. Math moves from basic operations to multi-step thinking. Writing becomes a tool for expression, not just an exercise. This is the year where gaps start to show, or where strong foundations pay off. At Score Academy, your child gets immediate feedback, targeted help the moment they need it, and the confidence that comes from being genuinely known by their teacher. The learning environment is personal, intentional, and structured for this age.
From early reading to creative exploration, here’s what 2nd Grade students study at Score Academy. Full Track students take every subject live. Flex Track students access the same accredited curriculum at their own pace.
