From early reading to creative exploration, here’s what 2nd Grade students study at Score Academy. Full Track students take every subject live. Flex Track students access the same accredited curriculum at their own pace.
Reading comprehension, fluency, paragraph writing, grammar, and vocabulary expansion. The year reading becomes a tool, not a task.
Addition and subtraction fluency, place value to 1000, measurement, data, and early multiplication concepts. Multi-step thinking begins here.
States of matter, habitats, weather systems, and the engineering design process. Observation meets experimentation.
Geography, historical figures, economics basics, and cultural diversity. Understanding how communities work.
Fitness skills, teamwork, coordination, and healthy lifestyle habits. Active bodies, focused minds.
Expanding vocabulary, simple conversations, reading, and cultural connections. Building on early foundations.
Drawing, color theory, mixed media, and creative projects. Developing observation and artistic expression.
Rhythm, melody, basic notation, and performance. Building musical literacy and appreciation.
Full Track students follow a personalized daily timetable built around live classes, guided activities, and breaks.

Same Cognia-accredited curriculum, delivered asynchronously. Your child works through structured coursework at their own pace with teacher access on demand. Rolling enrollment means they can start anytime.
Yes. Score Academy Online is designed for young learners. Second graders learn in live classes with certified teachers who provide the attention and structure this age needs. By second grade, students are comfortable with digital tools and thrive in a focused environment.
Yes. Online schooling is legal in all 50 states. Many families choose online school during early elementary to provide a more focused, individualized learning experience. Score Academy Online is accredited by Cognia, so transcripts are recognized by schools and districts nationwide.
Second grade students study Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Physical Education. They also choose one elective from Spanish, Art, or Music. Every subject is taught live by a certified teacher.
Tuition ranges from $3,195 to $15,000 per year depending on the track. Full Track (live, synchronous instruction) is $15,000/year plus a $1,500 registration fee, $500 enrollment deposit, and $225 technology fee. Flex Track (self-paced with teacher access on demand) is $3,195/year. Florida scholarship funds are accepted.
Full Track students follow a structured daily schedule from approximately 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with breaks and lunch built in. That’s roughly 4 to 5 hours of live instruction and guided activities, designed for young attention spans with purposeful breaks.
Three things. First, 100% of Full Track instruction is live and taught by certified human teachers. No AI tutors, no pre-recorded lectures as primary instruction. Second, every student gets an individualized education plan built by their teachers, not generated by software. Third, families can choose between Full Track (structured live school day) and Flex Track (self-paced), both under the same Cognia accreditation.
Yes. In every live class, your child interacts with classmates and their teacher. Group activities, discussions, and collaborative projects build genuine connections. Many families find that consistent, personal interactions in a focused setting work better for this age than navigating a crowded traditional classroom.
Yes. Score Academy Online is accredited by Cognia (which includes SACS CASI, NCA, and NWAC recognition) and is both NCAA Approved and NCAA Eligible. Transcripts carry the same weight as those from any traditional accredited private school.
