The year content gets deeper. Certified teachers who know every student by name, live instruction built for how nine-year-olds learn, and the kind of teaching that builds real academic independence.
Fourth grade marks a shift from guided learning to growing independence. Content gets substantially harder: longer reading passages, multi-paragraph writing, multi-digit multiplication, and deeper science and social studies concepts. Students who had the basics down are now applying them to genuinely challenging material. This is also the year where many students in traditional schools start to disengage. At Score Academy, your child is actively participating in every lesson, getting called on, getting feedback, and building the academic confidence that carries into middle school.
From early reading to creative exploration, here’s what 4th Grade students study at Score Academy. Full Track students take every subject live. Flex Track students access the same accredited curriculum at their own pace.
