Every grade, every course, every academic choice from this point forward becomes part of the record that colleges, universities, and scholarship committees will eventually review. At Score Academy, 9th graders build strong academic habits from day one. Students get real-time feedback, individualized support, and teachers who know exactly where they stand academically. Students new to online learning also develop the self-management skills that virtual education requires, with more structure than they’ll need by senior year.

Yes. Score Academy Online’s high school program begins in 9th grade. Students on the Synchronous package learn in live classes with certified teachers who build the academic habits and transcript quality that colleges will evaluate. AP courses are available from freshman year for students who are ready.
Yes. Online schooling is legal in all 50 states. Score Academy Online is accredited by Cognia (including SACS CASI, NCA, and NWAC recognition) and is both NCAA Approved and NCAA Eligible. Transcripts carry the same weight as those from any traditional accredited private school. Credits transfer cleanly.
Core subjects include English Language Arts, Mathematics (Algebra I or Geometry), Biology, and World History. Students also take a World Language (Chinese, French, or Spanish), Health and PE, and choose from electives including Journalism, Entrepreneurship, Psychology, AI, and more. AP courses are available for advanced learners. On the Synchronous and Flex packages, every subject is taught live by a certified teacher. On the Asynchronous package, students work through the same curriculum independently.
Pricing is per course for high school students. Asynchronous is $535 per course. Flex (live group classes with recordings and teacher chat) is $1,525 per course. Synchronous (live small-group classes of no more than 4 students with personalized feedback) is $2,500 per course. Additional fees such as registration and technology fees may apply. Yes. Score Academy Online’s Cognia accreditation means transcripts are evaluated using the same criteria as any traditional private school. Colleges don’t distinguish between online and in-person instruction when the accreditation is recognized. AP coursework, honors designations, and GPA all carry the same weight.
Yes. Students who demonstrate readiness can begin AP coursework as early as freshman year. Available AP courses include AP English, AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP U.S. History, and AP Computer Science. All AP courses at Score Academy Online are taught live by certified teachers on the Synchronous and Flex packages.
Yes. Score Academy Online is both NCAA Approved and NCAA Eligible. Courses count toward Division I and Division II eligibility requirements. The Asynchronous and Flex packages are popular with student athletes because they allow students to build their school day around training, travel, and competition schedules without sacrificing academic quality or accreditation.
