High school starts here — and so does the transcript colleges will read. Algebra, Biology, AP access, and live classes of six where your child's teachers actually know their name.
Freshman year is when the college transcript begins. Every grade, every course, every academic choice from this point forward becomes part of the record that colleges, universities, and scholarship committees will eventually review. At Score Academy, 9th graders build strong academic habits from day one — in classes of six where there's no hiding, no falling behind, and no waiting for a teacher to notice your child needs help. Students new to online learning also develop the self-management skills that virtual education requires, with more structure than they'll need by senior year.
From core academics to creative electives, here's a snapshot of what Grade 9 students study at Score Academy. Full Track students take every subject live in classes of six. Flex Track students access the same accredited curriculum at their own pace.

Three things set Score Academy apart. First, every class is capped at six students — the actual maximum in every live session. Second, 100% of Full Track instruction is live and taught by certified human teachers — no AI tutors, no pre-recorded lectures as primary instruction. Third, every student gets an individualized education plan built by their teachers, not generated by software.
