Yes. Score Academy Online is designed for young learners. Kindergarten on the Synchronous package is taught live by a certified teacher with short, engaging blocks and built-in breaks. The day is structured for how five-year-olds focus and learn, not hours of passive screen time.
Yes. Online schooling is legal in all 50 states, including at the kindergarten level. Many families choose online kindergarten for a more individualized, less overwhelming start to school. Score Academy Online is accredited by Cognia, so your child’s records are recognized by schools nationwide.
Kindergarten students study Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Physical Education. They also choose one elective from Spanish, Art, or Music. On the Synchronous and Flex packages, every subject is taught live by a certified teacher. On the Asynchronous package, students work through the same curriculum independently.
Pricing is per course for elementary students. Asynchronous is $415 per course. Flex (live group classes with recordings and teacher chat) is $1,275 per course. Synchronous (live small-group classes of no more than 4 students with personalized feedback) is $2,125 per course. Additional fees such as registration and technology fees may apply. Synchronous kindergarten students follow a structured daily schedule from approximately 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with breaks and lunch built in. That’s roughly 4 hours of live instruction and guided activities, shorter than a traditional school day and designed for young attention spans.
Three things. First, Synchronous instruction is 100% live and taught by certified human teachers. No AI tutors, no pre-recorded lectures as primary instruction. Second, every student gets an individualized education plan built by their teachers, not generated by software. Third, families can choose between Synchronous (small-group live), Flex (group live with recordings and teacher chat), and Asynchronous (fully self-paced), all under the same Cognia accreditation.
Yes. In every live class on the Synchronous and Flex packages, your child interacts with classmates and their teacher. Morning circle, group activities, and collaborative learning build genuine connections. Many families find that consistent, personal interactions in a focused setting work better for this age than navigating a crowded traditional classroom.
Yes. Score Academy Online is accredited by Cognia (which includes SACS CASI, NCA, and NWAC recognition) and is both NCAA Approved and NCAA Eligible. Transcripts carry the same weight as those from any traditional accredited private school.
